Welcome to the official launch of the SUPPS Lab website, home to the most in-depth supplement comparisons.

The idea for the website came about as a result of the need to compare various protein powders by price and protein content.

We scoured the internet and after months of research, data capture and programming, the SUPPS LAB website is born.

We were able to collect the 4 most popular bits of information that consumers consider when buying protein products, namely Protein, Carbohydrate, Sugar and Fat content. In addition, product images, nutritional labels and prices from major online retailers were also captured for consumer convenience.

We originally captured 33 Brands, 198 products and 671 prices. During the development satge, additional brands, products and prices were captured to form a comprehensive collection. At launch on 2 February 2017, we had increased the total number of brands to 59 with an astounding 294 different protein products and 830 prices.  

I think its safe to say we now have South Africa's widest range of protein powder comparisons.

We plan to add additional brands and products as they become available on the SA market including the addition of new prices from an increased number of outlets and updating of existing prices.

Let us hope we are able to gain consumer support and keep the website up and running.
